These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Buy Me Later mobile application and related website pages (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by FOP Kuper Mykola Andriiovych, an individual entrepreneur registered in Ukraine (“Buy Me Later,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By using Buy Me Later, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Buy Me Later does
Buy Me Later is a calm shopping decision utility. It helps you manually add a product you are considering, choose a pause period, receive a local reminder when the pause ends, reflect, and then decide what to do next.
Buy Me Later is not a marketplace, ecommerce store, ordinary wishlist service, budgeting service, financial advisor, price tracker, discount tracker, medical product, psychological treatment, or therapy service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, or older if the law in your country requires a higher age to use digital services without parental consent. The Service is not directed to children.
4. No financial, medical, or psychological advice
The Service provides tools for pausing and reflecting on shopping decisions. It does not provide financial, investment, budgeting, credit, tax, legal, medical, psychological, therapeutic, or professional advice. The Service is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or manage any medical or mental health condition. If you need professional advice, you should contact a qualified professional.
5. No guaranteed results
Buy Me Later does not guarantee that you will save money, avoid purchases, change behavior, or achieve any financial outcome. Any stats shown in the app, such as potential money kept or potential spending avoided, are based on your own entries and decisions and are informational only.
6. User-created product data
You are responsible for the product information, links, notes, photos, reflection answers, and decisions you add to the app. You should not add unlawful, harmful, confidential, or sensitive information that you do not want stored on your device.
7. Local data responsibility
In the current MVP, your product data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining your device, backups, and access to local data. If you delete the app, delete local data, lose your device, reset your device, or if local storage is damaged, your local app data may be lost unless you exported it or a future backup feature is available.
8. Notifications
Buy Me Later may schedule local notifications on your device when a pause period ends. Notification delivery depends on iOS, device settings, battery mode, network/system behavior, and other factors outside our control. We do not guarantee that reminders will be delivered exactly on time or at all.
9. Free pause attempts
In the current monetization model, users receive 3 free product pause attempts. A free attempt is consumed when you successfully start the initial pause for a new product. Deleting a product does not restore a used free attempt.
Deleting local data is intended to delete local products, pauses, photos, decisions, reflections, stats, and local notifications from the device, but it does not cancel Apple subscriptions, remove Apple purchase entitlements, or reset used free pause attempts.
10. Premium access
After your free pause attempts are used, Premium is required to start new product pauses. Existing history remains visible after the paywall lock, trial expiry, or if you do not purchase Premium. Premium access may come from an active monthly subscription, active 7-day free trial, Premium One-Time Unlock, or restored valid purchase.
11. Monthly subscription
The monthly Premium subscription is offered through Apple In-App Purchase. The current intended price is $1.99/month. Pricing may vary by country, taxes, currency, Apple pricing tiers, and App Store settings. The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled through your Apple Account / App Store subscription settings before the renewal date.
12. 7-day free trial
The monthly subscription may include a 7-day free trial. After the free trial ends, Apple will charge the monthly subscription price unless you cancel before the trial converts to a paid subscription. Trial availability may depend on Apple eligibility and App Store settings.
13. Premium One-Time Unlock
Premium One-Time Unlock is a non-consumable Apple In-App Purchase that unlocks Premium features in Buy Me Later without monthly renewal. The current intended price is $9.99. It provides access to Premium features while Buy Me Later and those Premium features remain available and supported, subject to these Terms, Apple platform rules, technical limitations, and mandatory consumer rights. It is not a guarantee that the app, company, or any feature will be available forever.
14. Restore Purchases
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, you may use Restore Purchases to restore eligible purchases associated with the Apple Account used to make the purchase. Restore Purchases does not restore local product history unless you have a backup or export/import feature available.
15. Refunds and billing support
Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests for App Store and In-App Purchase transactions are generally handled by Apple through Apple’s refund process. We can help you understand how to restore purchases or request support, but we cannot guarantee Apple refund decisions. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
16. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to bypass purchase controls, interfere with app security, reverse engineer the app except where permitted by law, use the app for unlawful purposes, or upload/store content that violates the rights of others.
17. Changes to the Service
We may update, improve, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service for product, technical, legal, security, App Store, or business reasons. If we make a material change that negatively affects paid Premium functionality, we will use reasonable efforts to provide notice where required or appropriate.
18. Discontinuation
We may discontinue the app or a material feature for commercial, technical, legal, security, App Store, platform, operational, or other reasons. For a planned discontinuation of the app or material Premium functionality, we will use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice through the app, website, or other reasonable means. Where technically feasible, we will provide a way to export local app data before discontinuation. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
19. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, available on all devices, or compatible with future operating system versions.
20. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Buy Me Later will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, lost opportunities, lost savings, or financial outcomes arising from or related to your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
21. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you materially violate these Terms or misuse the Service. If you have an Apple subscription, uninstalling the app or deleting local data does not cancel the subscription; you must cancel it through your Apple Account / App Store subscription settings.
22. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent that mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region apply and cannot be waived or limited by contract.
